Thumb basal joint osteoarthritis is a very common condition that causes pain and disability. The proprioceptive approach to the thumb has garnered significant interest among hand therapists in recent years. This course aims to evaluate the scientific evidence concerning the efficacy of conservative treatments for thumb osteoarthritis. Moreover, it will specifically define and assess proprioception exercises designed to enhance functionality and mitigate pain intensity in thumb osteoarthritis.
